Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26
Kotak Mahindra Group companies and the Kotak Education Foundation, the Kotak Kanya Scholarship aims to support education and livelihood among the underprivileged segments of society. By providing financial aid to deserving female students from low-income households, this scholarship hopes to enable them to continue their education beyond Class 12 by pursuing professional training.
Under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025, female students who have completed Class 12 and wish to enroll in professional graduation programs at reputable (NAAC/NIRF accredited) institutions, such as Engineering, MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 Years), Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research, in ISER, IISC (Bangalore), or other professional courses (Design, Architecture, etc.), will receive a scholarship of INR 1.5 lakh* per year to cover their tuition costs until they graduate (degree).

Eligibility Criteria
- Open for meritorious girl students across India.
- Compeleted 12th with minimum 75% or more marks or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Annual family income must be less than INR 6,00,000.
- Meritorious girl students who have secured admission to the first year of graduation programs in the academic year 2025-26 in institutes of repute like NIRF/NAAC accredited for professional graduation degrees such as Engineering, MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 Years), Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research, in ISER, IISC(Bangalore), or other professional courses (Design, Architecture, etc.).
- Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26.
Benefit
- A scholarship amount of INR 1.5 lakh* per year will be given to each selected scholar till completion of her professional graduation course/degree.
- The scholarship amount under Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26 should be utilised to cover academic expenses including tuition fees, hostel fees, internet, transportation, laptops, books and stationery.
Selection Process
- Initial shortlisting of applicants will be based on academic merit and financial background.
- Top-performing girl students will appear for two (2) rounds of interviews.
- The final selection and the awarding of the scholarship will be based on rank order and at the discretion of Kotak Education Foundation.
