SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025

The SBI Foundation launched the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025–2026, one of the biggest scholarship programs in India. The goal of this initiative is to guarantee the continuation of education for deserving children from low-income families throughout India by offering financial support. Students in Classes 9 through 12 who are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at the top 300 NIRF institutions and colleges, IITs, or MBA/PGDM programs at IIMs are eligible for this grant. Additionally, this award is available to students who choose to study overseas. A scholarship worth up to INR 20 lakh may be awarded to chosen candidates to assist with their academic pursuits.

Eligibility Criteria

Class 9-12
  • Open for Indian nationals.
  • Applicant classes 9 to 12 in the current academic year.
  • Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
  • Total annual family income of the candidate must be up to INR 3,00,000.
Undergradates/Graduation
  • Indian nationals
  • Students must be pursuing an undergraduate course (any year) from a premier university/college in India, as listed in the Top 300 Institutes according to the latest NIRF rankings.
  • Minimum 7 CGPA / 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
  • Total annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
Post Graduates
  • Indian nationals
  • Students must be pursuing an post-graduate course (any year) from a premier university/college in India, as listed in the Top 300 Institutes according to the latest NIRF rankings.
  • Minimum 7 CGPA / 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
  • Total annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
Medical Students
  • Indian nationals
  • Students must be pursuing medical degree (any year) from a premier university/college in India, as listed in the Top 300 Institutes according to the latest NIRF rankings.
  • Minimum 7 CGPA / 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
  • Total annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
IIT Students
  • Indian nationals
  • Students must be pursuing undergraudate course from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in India.
  • Minimum 7 CGPA / 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
  • Total annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
IIM Students
  • Indian nationals
  • Students must be pursuing MBA/PGDM course from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in India.
  • Minimum 7 CGPA / 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
  • Total annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.
Overseas Students
  • Indian nationals
  • Students must be belong to Schedule Caste (SC) or Schedule Tribe (ST) categories.
  • Students pursuing Postgraduate and above courses from premier institutions abroad (Institutes included in the Top 200 in QS/THE World University Rankings for 2024-25)
  • Minimum 7 CGPA / 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
  • Total annual family income of the applicants must be up to INR 6,00,000.

Documents Required
  • Recent passport-sized photograph.
  • Current admission proof (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card).

Selection Process
