Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27

The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026–27, a CSR initiative of the Kotak Mahindra Group in partnership with the Kotak Education Foundation, aims to support deserving girl students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing higher education. The scholarship is open to eligible students who have passed Class 12 and wish to enrol in professional undergraduate courses such as Engineering, MBBS, Architecture, Design, integrated LLB, and other eligible fields. Selected students can receive financial assistance of ₹1.5 lakh per year to cover their educational expenses throughout their degree programme, subject to the scholarship`s terms and conditions

Eligibility Criteria
  • Open for meritorious girl students across India.
  • Applicants must have scored at least 75% or more marks or equivalent CGPA in Class 12 board examinations.
  • Applicant`s annual family income must not exceed INR 6,00,000.
  • Meritorious girl students who have secured admission to the first year of graduation programs in the academic year 2026-27 in institutes of repute like NIRF/NAAC accredited for professional graduation degrees, such as Engineering, MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 Years), Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research, in ISER, IISC(Bangalore), or other professional courses (Design, Architecture, etc.).
  • Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27.

Benefits
  • A scholarship amount of INR 1.5 lakh* per year will be given to each selected scholar till completion of her professional graduation course/degree.

  • Bonafide student certificate/letter from college
  • College seat allocation document
  • College entrance examination scorecard
  • Masked Aadhaar card
  • Bank passbook
  • A passport-size photograph
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Death certificate of the parent (for single-parent/orphan candidates)
  • Photographs of the house
