IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarship Program 2026-28

The IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholarship Program 2026–28 is a need-based scholarship initiative aimed at supporting deserving students pursuing the first year of a full-time MBA course. Launched by IDFC FIRST Bank, the program is designed to help students from economically disadvantaged families continue their management education without financial constraints.

Under this scholarship, students whose annual family income is less than ₹6,00,000 can apply for financial assistance. Selected candidates will receive a total scholarship amount of ₹2,00,000, which will be disbursed in two installments of ₹1,00,000 per year throughout the two-year MBA program, helping them cover educational expenses and focus on their academic and professional growth.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Open to Indian nationals residing in India only.
  • Students must be enrolled in the first year of a 2-year full-time MBA program or its equivalent for the class of 2026.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in one of the MBA colleges listed in the attached document. (Eligible college list)
  • The gross annual family income from all sources should be less than or equal to INR 6 lakh.
  • Applicants must have a valid mobile number linked to their Aadhaar number.
  • The earning member should not be an IDFC FIRST Bank employee.

Benefit
  • The selected MBA students will be awarded a scholarship sum of INR 2,00,000 for two years of full-time MBA studies (INR 1 lakh per annum, subject to terms and conditions*).

  • Birth Certificate / 10th Passing Certificate / Passport
  • Income Proof (anyone)
  • Earning members income certificate
  • 143(1) Document
  • In case no earning member, No income certificate from authority is mandatory
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Sanctioned loan letter (if applicable)
  • Death certificate, if there is a death of the sole earning member of the immediate family
  • Documents of any other scholarships received for pursuing an MBA
